| Profile | Currently, after arriving by train or car, the site leaves the visitor without sense of orientation and most parts of the landscape work as obstacles. Also, special care needs to be taken with respect to the privacy of the inhabitants. A two-fold strategy has been applied in order to grade private and public. A projected path has been intensified by introducing memory-loops. Secondly, public and private visual-fields map out potentials of sloping and other border conditions. One of the new programs is the new station, which has become part of the continuity of the path. It provides a main point in the sunset-observation sequence by turning into an arena-station. The wooden structure that supports the accessible roof frames the panoramic view. From here the magnificent ‘Tarshan Sunset’, as well as the event of arrival and departure, can be optimally enjoyed. | |||||
