| Profile | This reception desk was conceived as an individual element, freestanding in the entrance hall of Stahlbau Pichler. The oval shaped desk has siding of polycarbonate which can be lit. The skirting board is kept low and is set back far enough to make that the desk appears to float. The top surfaces are rough steel, showing all the particular qualities of steel and steel joints. The surface which curves up and down is continuous and goes round and back and round again. The diverse widths and heights allow for leaning, reading the newspaper, displaying and so on.
